After Watford gained promotion to the English topflight league, Gino Pozzo decided to sell a majority of his shares in Granada Football Club to Jiang Lizhang for €37m in 2016. Gino explained the reason for this decision was that he wanted to devote his concentration to running Udinese Calcio and Watford F.C.
