How the Markets are Affecting Your Investments with Yves Mirabaud
Yves Mirabaud has been a successful investor and businessman for over 30 years. He is the Chairman of Mirabaud Asia Limited, which he established in Hong Kong in 1999. His company manages assets of more than US$9 billion and provides services to clients from across Asia, Europe and North America. Mirabaud, an ex-athlete, has competed at the highest levels of professional racing in Formula Three- and 24-hour sports car endurance events.
Mirabaud also serves on numerous boards of private companies at home and abroad where he applies his experience of finance, entrepreneurship and marketing to help them grow their businesses. He is Chairman of Mirabaud Securities Limited, which he established in Hong Kong in 2006.
Yves Mirabaud is also a qualified helicopter pilot and has flown with the Swiss Air Rescue. He is passionate about racing cars and about competing at the highest levels of motorsports (he was Le Mans 24 Hour class winner three times). He will race his fourth Rolex 24 at Daytona in January 2015.
Mirabaud has been a passionate advocate of fintech, the application of new technology to finance, since he co-founded SWFX with Georges Ugeux and David Picon in 2001. In 2003, Mirabaud moved to Hong Kong where he continued his interests in innovation and entrepreneurship as a member of the Steering Committee on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in China under President Hu Jintao.
He is a member of the Monaco Economic Board, which advises Prince Albert II on economic matters. He also serves as a member of the Selection Committee for Monaco’s Literary Awards. In 2009, he was invited to become a Trustee of the Princess Grace Foundation.
Yves Mirabaud has lived in Monaco since 2009 when he purchased an apartment in Monaco-Ville, the Rock’s historic district, and moved there with his family.
