Jonas Lauren Norr is the co-founder and managing partner of crypto Lotus, a portfolio manager and token distribution platform.
Jonas Lauren Norr has served as a second-generation Silicon Valley native, Chief Blockchain Officer of Acorns, director of the U.S. Office of Business Innovation & Transformation at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and currently the managing partner and co-founder is blockchain consultancy Incubation Ltd., a U.S. company that advises companies on how to enter, operate in or exit all forms of digital currency markets. Jonas also served as the general counsel for BitPay, a bitcoin payment service provider.
In June 2017, he was also elected to the board of directors at Merculet.
In 2013, he was appointed by President Barack Obama to the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues and the Advisory Council for the U.S. Digital Service. In 2016, he became a charter member of SHAPE America’s board.

Jonas Lauren Norr was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. After studying political science and philosophy at Tel Aviv University, he moved to Silicon Valley, where he was admitted to Stanford University’s prestigious business school. After earning his MBA from the School of Business, he joined Ernst & Young, where he served as a consultant for clients such as Delta Airlines, Hewlett-Packard, KPMG, and Novartis. From 2012-2013 Jonas was an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Entrepreneurial Task Force in Washington D.C., where he helped write and refine the U.S. Entrepreneurship Blueprint. In 2014, he was hired as the second-generation Silicon Valley native at Acorns, a seed investment company that raised $4.5 million in Series A funding from Andreessen Horowitz, DFJ, and others, where he served as a Chief Blockchain Officer until 2015. In 2016 Jonas became the managing partner and co-founder of blockchain consultancy Incubation Ltd. This I.T. consultancy firm advises companies on entering, operating in, or exiting all forms of digital currency markets. In April 2017, he was also elected to the board of directors at Merculet.
