Kelcy Warren Early Life
Kelcy Warren is the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, one of the largest pipeline corporations in America. He is also a partner in the Dakota Access Pipeline and CEO of Sunoco Logistics Partners, which has recently merged with Energy Transfer Partners.
In 1955, Kelcy Warren was born amongst his four elder brothers in Gladewater, Texas. His father worked for Sun Oil as a ditch digger and gauger; he was later promoted to field clerk. He had only reached high school education. Kelcy Warren believed that although his dad was a fantastic man and was content with his job, he was not driven to achieve more.
His father had all the time to go and watch football games or visit his friends and have a coffee. His father was a humble man who could not talk badly about someone or use profanity. His mother worked in a department store; she never completed high school. Her dream was to see his sons graduate from college. She made sure that his son kept that in mind. His eldest brother paved the way by receiving a college education for the entire family.
Kelcy Warren loved his hometown because it was small, and it was easy to know everyone. Warren grew up together with his brothers, going to Baptist church. The church has an enormous role in Kelcy Warren’s success. His family was renowned for scouting; his family had a Boy Scout. His mother was the den leader when he was young, and his father was the scoutmaster.
His father was the school board president; when he joined high school, his mother was the president of the PTA. Warren applauses his parent for being supportive and loving compared to his friends.
Kelcy Warren believed he won a jackpot having such beautiful parents. However, his family was not wealthy even though both had jobs; they always found ways to earn extra money through side hustles. They could open a trailer park; this help generates extra income to cater to the family’s needs.
His father’s side hustle was a paper route; he didn’t mind; he woke up at 2:30 and rolled papers while putting rubber around them. He enjoyed the tranquility in the morning will moving bands around rolled documents. Refer to this page for additional information.
