He also emphasizes hiring local residents, promoting local jobs, and giving back to the community (Laprogressive).

Since 2011, Thomas Neyhart has been the CEO of PosiGen, a residential solar power and energy efficiency solutions company. As the CEO of PosiGen, he aims to make a difference in the lives of low-to-moderate-income families. Since the company’s inception, Thomas Neyhart adds, PosiGen has assisted more than 10,000 families in reducing their energy bills and improving their quality of life. These families include people in Louisiana, Florida, and New York.

Though solar adoption is slow and steady in different industries and verticals, PosiGen’s CEO aims to bring solar energy to homeowners nationwide. The company’s mission is to bring solar energy to all American homes, regardless of location, financial status, or history of energy consumption. As Thomas Neyhart finally adds, only time will tell whether it is successful. As of the time of writing, PosiGen has facilitated the installation of over 18,000 solar systems and continues to add a few thousand more each year.
